Positive Behaviour for Learning

Our school has a matrix of behaviour that guides how we interact with each other. This applies across as school to students, parents, and teachers. The playground matrix of behaviour focuses on how we interact with each other in the playground. It provides a consistent set of behaviours that we supervise and model each day. You can download this form at this link Playground Matrix.

The Check In Check Out program provides positive daily feedback for students who need additional behavior support and who may benefit from daily positive adult attention. This intervention also provides a positive communication link between home and school, sets students up for success each morning, and promotes self-reflection by students on their own behavior throughout the day.
