At Buninyong we are implementing our STEM program. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
We engage students in activities that combine different elements of STEM, they experience guided inquiry in which they must ask questions, discover answers, apply what they learn, and problem-solve.
Many STEM projects involve teamwork and thoughtful dialogue in which students exchange ideas and discuss ways to problem-solve.
STEM projects require students to systematically think through problems, apply the information they learn along the way about technology and engineering to figure out solutions.
