Learning, it's how we connect!

It's how we connect

Buninyong Public School is a buzz of positivity.

I see and get to share in this every day.  Our parents bring it when visiting, our students wear it in their smiles and enthusiasm for learning, and our staff commits to it every minute they have your child in their care.

We draw on the vast resources of the NSW Department of Education and work closely with our community delivering teaching experiences to children of dynamic and diverse backgrounds. The foundation of our school is providing a safe environment that is built on respect and focuses on learning. We commit and connect as a community so come and join us.

Our 'hub' for health

It's how we connect

Instead of you reaching out into the community for health and wellbeing services we bring the services to you as part of our everyday educational practice. We 'wrap' our children in wellbeing!

This empowers you as a parent to make health and wellbeing decisions that will maximise your children's learning.

We can link you to the following child and family centred support services including occupational therapy; speech pathology; exercise physiology; psychology; a wellbeing officer; a therapy gym, trampoline and playground; wellbeing support for students and families as well as connections to outside agencies like the NDIS and Carer support.

Learning and teaching

When you consider your children's education are you looking for a school that:

  • provides a structure for learning at school and at home
  • focuses on developing the essential skills
  • builds joy and opportunity into learning
  • enables parents to be part of the community
  • encourages flexible learning for all children
  • continuously trains staff in the latest learning and teaching strategies
  • caters to the individual needs of all
  • looks to continuously improve
